is clomid the answer? 2nd postFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSun, 31 Aug 2003 13:33:19 -0500 (CDT)
Hello, My doc tested my progesterone because when charting and doing ovulation predictor kits, I found my luteal phase to be 7 or 8 days at most. Well, my progesterone levels were normal (12.4) and showed that I indeed ovulated. That same cycle, I started my period the very next day! I called and told them that I am still having 7 or 8 day luteal phases. They said try to get pregnant with ovulation monitor for 6 months, and if nothing happens, they will want to put me on clomid to lenthen my luteal phase. Does this sound okay? Since I already seem to ovulate on my own, would that mean that with Clomid I would have an even greater chance than most of having twins than women who do not ovulate at all? Thanks
