It has been almost 7 weeks since my d&c after a miscarriage. I only spotted a few days after the d&c and then a week later I started bleeding again for about a week. Doctor says that was not a period and I am still waiting. My husband and I waited until almost 5 weeks after surgery to have sex. Home pregnancy test was negative a couple of days ago but I'm still waiting for my period. What is the longest anyone has had to wait for their first normal period to return after a d&c?
