Problems when taking out blood for blood test. Should I be worried about this?" For a few weeks, I have had on occasion (2-3 X/week) a brown mucous discharge. I spoke with my doc about it a few days ago, and he said it is probably due to sex. However, in thinking about it, it really doesn't coincide with the timing of intercourse. I got it again yesterday, and hadn't had sex in 10 days. I did have a cervical polyp removed at 16 weeks, due to heavy bleeding (red), but that all stopped. This mucous is a little different looking than other brown mucous I have had (like before a period)...it is more dense and has a little yellow in it, too. And ideas? Could this be my mucous plug?
