NOT a doc, but I'd say you'll be fine. The baby will be kept all warm and safe in your uterus - there are LOTS of layers between your skin and your baby! You might get better results by putting the ice packs on your foreheat, the back of your neck, on your wrists, and behind your knees. And by taking short, luke-warm showers occasionally - believe it or not the air hitting your skin will feel cooler after a warmish shower. Try bags of frozen beans if you have them.
