Karen, hi, I'm glad you updated with how pregnant you are. I think this is perfectly normal- slightly high but nothing substantial. The fetal heartrate is typically really high around this time -- my baby (now a 2-month-old healthy girl) had a heartrate of 178 at 10 weeks. If the h.r. were 190 at 20 weeks you might have reason to wonder but I know that between 8 and 11 or 12 weeks the h.r. reaches its peak. I would not worry if I were you. what did your doctor say? surely your doctor told you this was OK.
