10 weeks after going off pill and no periodFrom: jd123 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 18 Aug 2003 09:58:23 -0500 (CDT)
I am 26 years old and have no children and no previous pregnancies. I went off of the pill as of June 8th (the first day of my last period) because my husband and I wanted to try and get pregnant. I had been on Orth-TriCylcen for just over 5 years(Before that I had previously been on the pill for about 2 years--when I went off the first time, my period was a week late and then resumed normally) It has now been 10 weeks since my last period. I had a blood test 1 week ago, which was negative. Is this a normal reaction to going off the pill? How soon should I start to worry or go back to the doctor? Is it still possible that I am pregnant? Thank you!
