2 ?- discharge and cx positionsFrom: jaf45115 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 17 Aug 2003 21:37:03 -0500 (CDT)
I have 2 questions for anyone who can answer either. This is my 7th pregnancy. I have 4 children, had a m/c at 5 weeks in '00, and a m/c at 16 weeks last December (no anatomical or chromosomal defects). I am currently 15 wk 5 days pregnant. I rented a doppler online and listen to my peanut several times a day. First question- I've asked the dr. about this at the 3 visits I've had in the last 9 weeks and was given cultures that came out negative. I've noticed much heavier discharge some days than others- can actually feel dripping at times and once it happens, it's several times in a short period then nothing for a while. Night time is the only time this doesn't happen. Reassure me- it is too early to be leaking fluid, right? Second question- I've noticed at times (after washing my hands) that my cervix feels low and open, similar to when I would ovulate. At every visit, I've been told that it's high and closed. I know what I'm feeling- should I be persistant? Could this be a warning of a potential problem, or is it just because of several previous pregnancies> Thanks in advance!
