The wheel is a tool used for estimation. Your DLP is not the starting point. They go forward a week or two to account for when ovulation was to occur.

I actually had IVF so they couldn't go by my DLP since it was manipulated. According to my IVF retrieval/fertilization date (Jan 29th) I should be 28 weeks and 6 days. HOWEVER according to "the wheel" I'm 31 weeks as of today (a whole week ahead).

Your ultrasounds are used for accurate measurement and gestational age. They changed mine twice in my 2nd month! Go by your doctor is saying b/c that's what they measure the baby's development by.
