Dr. Doctor's, I am 8 weeks postpartum and still bleeding rather heavily. Ever since I gave birth it has never stopped which rules out my period. It has turned to brown twice for a few days around 2 1/2 weeks and again at 4 weeks postpartum. Ever since it has been bright or dark red and consistent. It is heavier at certain times of the day ( mostly late morning, early afternoon). I went in to see my doctor at 6 weeks and she did an internal and said everything looked alright and to come back at 8 weeks. Went in today and she sent me home because I was still bleeding and she couldn't do a pap. I cannot go on birth control because I have hemangiomas on my liver. Is this normal or should I contact another OB/Gyn? I find myself feeling dizzyand lightheaded lately but I'm not sure it has anything to do with that. Thank you for your help!!!
