I'm using a progestin supplement (like provera but different name, I think) to jump start my period, hopefully jump starting ovulation. My doctor put me on it for 10 days and now I have been off for two days. On and off for this time (all 12 days so far) I've had a mixed bag of symptoms - sore breasts, lower back pain, mild nasuea, abdominable cramps, etc. All in all, I've felt "PMS-y" much of the last 12 days. Is this normal on this type of medicine? I still haven't started - when should I expect it? I'm going on week 11 or 12 with no period, which is very frustrating when I'm trying to get pregnant. And yes, HPTs (last one two weeks ago) say I'm not pregnant. Any insight will be appreciated - thanks!
