Anna-

I would make sure your hospital and or dr knows that you live so far away from the hospital. A lot of hospitals will send you home if you aren't in active labor, but they might give you a break being so far away from the hospital. Maybe if you are in the early stages of labor they would give you pitocin or just let you stay and be monitored. Also, if your dr knows you have quite a journey to the hospital, he might give you a better idea of when you should come in i.e. "I want you to come in as soon as you feel this..."
