Hi Kathryn, I'm not a MD but as far as I know its okay as long as you don't switch from anal sex to vaginal without changing condoms or him washing himself VERY WELL (bacteria from anaus is terrible in your vagina). The real question is, in my opinion, why would you WANT to while pregnant? I am pregnant with my second child and after all the problems I had with hemroids and fisures(sp?) during my pregancy (mostly late in pregancy) I can't imagine anything going near that area, LOL! I hope its something you BOTH are comfortable with and if not right now, there's plenty of time to try something new after the baby comes. If you are worried and anxious about it, it will be a very painful experience (pregnancy is uncomfortable enough). Hope that helps!
