Glycerin Castille soap during pregnancy

I've been using a Castille soap daily for hand washing and showering/shampooing and I just researched the ingredients and found out that Castille soaps are made from Sodium Hydroxide (lye). Should I stop using the Castille soap during pregnancy? I ran across a site that said that Castille soaps can be used for birth control, which sounded really crazy, but now I'm worried that the soap will cause a miscarriage. Sorry for asking a silly question, but I'm concerned.
