My period was due two weeks ago. One week ago first response hpt showed two, positive lines indicating that I was pregnant. I went to the doctor then and he said that he could not see the embryo in the sonogram because it was probably too soon. He told me to come back in a week. I went back today and he still could not see an embryo but believed I was still pregnant because the uterus looked full like it had cotton in it. He was concerned so he sent me to get a blood HCG test today and then another in 48 hours to see if my HCG is increasing as it should. I took the test (haven't gotten results yet) then came home and took another first response hpt. The second line was so faint that I could barely see it. The test line was dark but my line was almost invisible. I followed the directions. What do you think this means? Thank you so much for your thoughts.
