LOOKING FOR ANSWERS RE: EARLY M/C'S & CHROMOSONE TESTING...PLEASE!!!!From: Brenda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 7 Aug 2003 14:57:27 -0500 (CDT)
I am 41 yrs old. In the past year, I have had 3 very early m/c's all ending in my 5th week of pregnancy. I have also had 3 chemical pg's which ended very close to when my period was due. I have had numerous tests run and so far everything is fine. I'm at the point (and age) when the idea of any more testing is not to appealing to me. The dr did mention doing chromonsone testing but I figure if they do find anything, there wouldn't be anything that can be done since I don't want to go through IVF or other expensive procedures. Can you tell me if my history of miscarriages all ending before or in my 5th week leads you to think it's a chromosone problem and if it is possible that it is chromosonal, could I still go on to have a healthy pregnancy without medical intervention?
