Hemorrhagic Corpus Luteum and Progesterone ProductionFrom: Jill (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 6 Aug 2003 15:30:32 -0500 (CDT)
I have been diagnosed with hemorrhagic corpus luteum. Symptoms include dull heavy pain on only right lower side of abdomen during late cycle. Dr. diagnosed with vag. ultrasound. I have suffered 2 first trimester miscarriages and terminated my third pregnancy at 30 weeks due to fetal anomoly in December of 2002. I have been have been having symptoms since February 2003, after discontinuing birth control. No luck yet conceiving again. My question is, could the hemorrhagic corpus luteum be hindering progesterone production? Your insight is much appreciated.
