I'm currently 16 days late, 6 negative home tests and I'm about to go crazy! I never had this trouble when I was pregnant before. I had like 3 positive tests with my daughter. My other problem is that I have no insurance and so finding a dr. willing to do a blood test is a problem. Does anyone know of any good ob's in central Indiana preferably north of Indy. Thanks!

Dear Carrie, You might call your local health department or county hospital, they may have clinics or referals to doctors. Another possibility is Planned Parenthood, but you will have to have an examination first for them to determine if there is a possibility of pregnancy and this can take all day, but I would try the county hospital or health department first, they may also have programs for prenatal care if you have no insurance. You can try calling urgent care centers, most likley they can see you today, examin and order appropriate lab work for less than the cost of going to the ER. Do you have any other symptoms other than missing your period? Remember, stress can cause your period to be delayed. There are some rare reasons for false-negative pregnancy tests, are you taking any Rx or OTC or ever had an allergic reaction to any medication? Do you work with animals. I hope this helps, Marie
