It is a high intensity cardio work out and ive been doing it for years but i do know that my heart rate goes up pretty high when i do that class and dont want to do anything to endanger the baby. please advise. does that kind of stuff cause miscarriages or is it chromasomal. i dont want to do anything irresponsible. im 36 years old. thanks very much. Dear Cianci, here is a link with lots of information on fitness during pregnancy, http://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy/pregnancyfitness/index In general you want to avoid exercise with obvious risks, falls, where you get over-heated and you may have a lower threshold now, also your target HR will be lower, so think in terms of Low-impact excercise and stretches, walking, some types of yoga, etc.
