Question regarding intercourse during pregnancyFrom: Susan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 5 Aug 2003 15:56:08 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 8 weeks 4 days pregnant and an ultrasound done today found that the placenta is covering the cervix (placenta previa). The nurse told me not to worry because it's early and hopefully this will correct itself. I was wondering, however, if it's still safe for me to have sexual intercourse with my husband; I know if placenta previa is diagnosed later in pregnancy this is usually restricted. Thank you.
