cytotec induction

Will doctors use cytotec to induce a normal pregnancy, instead of pitocin. If so, are you required to have an IV? I have had to be induced with my last two pregnancies and am preparing myself for a possible induction of my third. I never had any complications with the other two. My only complaint was that I had to be hooked to an IV the whole time without the freedom to move as I wanted. I was kind of curious about the use of cytotec for induction of labor and was hoping someone could shed some light on this.

Thanks, Jenny
