Hello I am 37 (almost 38)...no children...trying to conceive about 1.5 yrs...I've had 3 chemical pregnancies in 5 cycles...all around the 5 week mark. I've been tested for everything possible...the only thing that comes back a little higher than normal is FSH...around 10. (but my RE said she has patients with FSH levels in the 13-14 range that are getting pregnant) I ovulate on my own but she wanted to boost it with the clomid. Husband's sperm analysis was great. 2 of the early losses were on 50mg clomid cycles...the other one was a natural cycle. (I've done 4 cycles of clomid...the last 1 was 2 cycles ago...and there was a 2 month break between that one and the earlier ones). I wanted to move to injectables...but my RE wants to do 1 more cycle of 100mg of clomid/plus adding IUI. I know what the IUI does for me...but how is taking clomid going to increase my chances of producing a viable pregnancy...when I already conceived 2x before on 50mg and they didn't last?
