30wks, PTL due to dehydration- suggestionsFrom: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Aug 2003 15:19:02 -0500 (CDT)
Last night I was at the LDR for PTL for the second time. This time, they ran a in depth dip test that revealed high levels of dehydration... I had been drinking as much water and juice as humanly possible- it is a fight to drink that much and to eat a sufficient intake. At the time the PTL started, I had had 1.5 liters of water, 16 oz of milk, 12oz soda (1 caffinated beverage was OK'd for my headaches), and about 12 oz of Koolaid. I had been inside with the A/C at 74 degrees and not sweating particularly badly... what is wrong with this picture... I can't drink anymore than I am... I get sick to my stomach when I force myself...
