I read a posting about Blighted Ovum with Twins occurring. My first Daughter was conceived with Fertility Shots. (14mos old) My 2nd preg. (I am 8 weeks preg.) Came w/o meds. & Showed by Ultrasound one healthy heartbeat, and another Twin Sac that was empty. My Dr. knows I am in the Health field and what I have gone through before. She didnt seem alarmed at all at this...I on my own knew it was a "blighted ovum" althougth she never got into details. She did tell me that there is a possibility that there was never any baby to begin with. Was this to not upset me, or does this really happen? I dont understand why a sac would form had there never been any sign for my body to think conception in that sac was there...Which leads me to believe at one time- beit a day or longer, there was a baby! I have not been upset by this but want to know, should I tell my future child one day- there might have been a twin? Thank You! Hannah
