I have tested positive for group b strep (I am 37 weeks pregnant). My husband is afraid that he will become infected if we have sex. I have asked my OB-GYN about this and he assures me that this is not possible although he did not explain to me why or how. I really need some facts to share with my husband. Thank you for any information you can provide.
