>It stands for Fellow, American College of Obstetritians and Gynecologists. it means they are board certified. About 60% of OBGYN's are board certified. I don't bother going to a doc not board certified if they've been in practice long enough to get certified. It's always a good idea to ask why they are not. Sometimes the reason is they went to a foreign medical school.
