Could I get reassurance?From: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Jul 2003 13:33:32 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. I just need some reassurance. I miscarried in March 2003 (had a D&C) then conceived in June (had last period on May 25th). So far I have had 3 ob/gyn visits and as many ultrasounds. Due to my last miscarriage hcg levels were drawn. The first level (at approximately 7 weeks) was 102,000 and my progesterone was 23. The second level (about 3 days later) registered 140,000 hcg and I am unsure of progesterone. All of my ultrasounds showed heartbeat - the most recent yesterday at 9w3days was 171 bpm. My question is - how reassuring is this that the pregnancy will be successful? Prior to the miscarriage in March I had many problems (bleeding, hcg that didn't double) but this time around my doctors think everything is going great and I've had no bleeding and LOTS of morning sickness. Another opinion would be really appreciated... Thanks...
