Did you suffer from migraines prior to being pregnant, too? If so, what did you take for them? I'm on Imitrex for them (suffer from them for years...I also lose vision in 1 or both eyes with mine) luckilly during pregnancy, they don't occur as often for me. Imitrex is a class C drug as well, but my OB/GYN said I could use it if I absolutely needed it (I hope I don't have to). If you weren't migraine sufferer prior to being pregnant, has your doctor checked your blood pressure regularly? I'm not a MD, just a long-time migraine sufferer, and know what you're going though. Try not to take any meds if you can help it....if you do need it, try using advil and tylenol together (either alternating them or at the same time...its what Excedrine is made of minus the caffeine) before you resort to using a Rx med. Get a large soft ice pack for your head and eyes, drink LOTS of water and try not to eat ANY salty foods (my downfall). Ask your MD how long using advil is recommended (I heard it isn't okay to use in the 3rd trimester) and if you can take larger doses. My friend is also a sufferer, and swears by dinking 1 caffeine drink daily to keep them away (I try not to during pregnancy, but one can't hurt I suppose). Hope it helps. So sorry that you're having those darn things!
