Distal or poximal tube blockage?From: Abby (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 Jul 2003 12:57:42 -0500 (CDT)
I had an ectopic preg. in April. I was treated with the chemo shot. I have irregular periods, but from OPK's I am almost possitive I ovulate 14 days before my period. The time between my period and ovulation varies month to month. I had a HSG test done and the dr. said that the end of my tube is closed, causing the ectopic. I have a couple of questions. 1. Is this distal or poximal blockage? 2. Can you still get preg. with either of these kinds of blockage through the affected tube? 3. Will it probably be fixed during laparoscopy and chromatubation? 4. Is my chance of having another ectopic higher because of this blockage? 5. What are my chances that my other tube is functioning correctly(it is not blocked according to the HSG)? 6. Will fertility drugs help me get preg.? Thanks in advance
