I am 12 weeks pregnant. I was detected with hypothyroidism in 5th week. Since then my synthroid dosage has been 125mcg. After 4 weeks my levels were checked and they were normal. But my dosage was not reduced. For the past 2-3 weeks my heart races too fast. Even if I climb one staircase with the lowest most speed, by the time I am up, my heart sounds like I have climbed atleast 2-3 stairs in a great hurry. It doesn't take much time for it to go over 100. Since heart doesnt race so much so fast in the first trimester, I was wondering if this could be related to a high dose of synthroid. Could anyone help? Thank You.
