Hi I am 30 have had 1 live birth 5 yr/old, and since have had 3 m/c dr. put me on lovenox, asa, progesterone for ana and minor clotting factor elevation, I am currently 11 weeks we saw a HB at 6w6d on US. I have some mild smptoms however my abdomen does not feel heavy which I felt with all previous pg. I have not seen my dr. since finding out I was pg only the ob nurse, don't see dr. for 1.5 weeks and they won't move up appointment I'm so concerned something may be wrong I can't sleep. Question is this normal or should I feel a change in my abdomen, I don't feel pg at all and also what are the chances of mc after seeing a heartbeat, will lovenox make a difference in what I feel like in this pregnancy. Dear Christy, It's true, each pregnancy and symptoms are different, changing according to the physiological stage of pregnancy. You have been through a lot and tentative when your experience is different than what you are experiencing now. Assuming, abdominal "Heaviness" normal and expected since it occurred with prior pregnancies at this stage may be a false assumption.

I looked up symptoms in pregnant women with ANA/clotting problems on Lovenox and Aspirin, many noticed the same lack of heaviness at this stage. You may have had an undiagnosed clotting problem during the pregnancy resulting in live birth as well. The combination of Lovenox and Aspirin both thin the blood, each does so in different ways and compliment eachother and more effective preventing RSA'a than aspirin alone. Lovenox thins the blood eliminating the problems from clots that may have inhibited healthy circulation, aspirin thins the blood and dilates blood vessels and reduces inflammation, together optimizing circulation, lowering BP, sothat lack of heaviness is a sign of improved circulation which can be measured in Doppler studies. As pregnancy progresses, gravity may once again induce that heaviness. Best wishes, Marie
