Is there any known side effects to your child? As silly as I know this sounds.....My son is very short for his age and I have had many people say "maybe it was the medication you were on" I never would have thought twice about it until I heard it more than once. Dear Meg, Reglan is considered safe during pregnancy category B and no evidence of defects, and if Reglan allowed you to retain food, then it may have helped more than hurt, if the cause of your hyperemisis prevented you from retaining and absorbing adequate nutrition. There are many reasons for a child being small and some catch up eventually, what has his doctor said about his height? Sorry to take so long to answer, I thought one of the doctors would. Marie
