Re: (update on) STUPID Husband! UGH!From: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 13 Jul 2003 23:41:46 -0500 (CDT)
Since I got so many people responding, I'll update you guys... After 3 days at eachothers throats like we have never been before, we finally reached a static point that is at least somewhat tolerable... NO I WAS/AM NOT BEING HORMONAL... I ran the issues by some friends and got some interesting ideas (that he was getting that "yikes, she's actually coming" and was "digging trenches to maintain certain rights to individuality") You see, I posted about the ant infestation a few days ago... it was my second such infestation in 2 months, and the first one found him asleep and me mopping my ant-filled kitchen floor on my hands and knees at 5.5 months pregnant (and on "take it easy as you can, near bedrest orders)... I screamed and threw a fit about the first infestation but my hubby would not help because he believes killing them is wrong (and lets face it, you can't "relocate" 10,000 ants... When we moved to this apt we lost the 4 stupid but crucial pins that allow us to put together our bed, and had the mattress on the floor until I was 24.5wks and when the new set arrived I wanted to get the bed together because getting up from the floor sucked... hubby said we'd do it in 2 days when he had more time (it's a damn 30min project!) I ended up putting 98% of it together by myself and getting sore... Then we had the recent SEVERE ant infestation and I AGAIN found myself doing ALL the work because of his NO KILL policy and I still am pissed that he can't take a break from his no kill policy until I am recovered from birth... I am still SOOOOOOOO SORE from dealing with it... So, he is being a bit of a stupid husband, but we have come to some conversation and hopefully he'll snap back into ship-shape... I love him... (even if he is capable of being a STUPID HUSBAND!)
