>From what I understand, Katya got this swaddling idea from a book titled The Happiest Baby on the Block" by a pediatrician named Dr. Karp. A search on the internet pulled up NOT ONE negative thing about him OR his book. A search on Amazon revealed a 5 star average rating from 123 people. The comments were glowing. There were no warnings that I found from the Dept. of child services or any other organization about this book, the author, or his ideas. There is a summary of the book at http://www.abcnews.com for anyone that might like to satisfy their curiosity. Could it be that there is some jumping to conclusion going on? Perhaps a misunderstanding? I mean calling someone a cruel mother and a child abuser is a pretty harsh accusation.
