I am nearly 17 weeks pregnant with twins and have been experiencing lower abdominal pains mostly after standing or sitting for a while. My Ob. is not very concerned. He says it is common with twins. Could this be a sign of preterm labor?

Also recently I noticed that I am having a some vaginal pressure as well especially while urinating. Could this is a UTI? I don't have any excess discharge. My appointment with my Ob. is 9 days away. Should I meet him sooner?
