>Hi Michele, Hope I didn't seem judgemental- I totally agree with helping a baby have a regular bed time. With my first two daughters, when they were about 3 months and better able to self regulate, I would put them in their bed at 7:30 after a bath and feeding. When they fussed, I would pick them up, hug them briefly, give them back their pacifier, then leave the room again. I repeated this until they were alseep, and the trick was that I never took them out of their room. After a week, they went to sleep without fussing (in general of course, if they were sick or something was out of the ordinary, then they would deviate from the routine). After the set bed time, I fed them in the night when they awoke but never took them out of their rooms till morning. My first daughter didn't sleep thru for 14 months, but she always went to bed ok. My second was sleeping through at about 4-5 months. With my 5 week old, she is collicky at night, and we are co-sleeping due to lack of bedrooms (5 kids). Once she is older and has her own room, it should be easier to get her into a regular bed time routine and from there- sleeping through the night. Hopefully the swaddling will help her get some longer sleeping stretches. Thanks for your help:) Darcie
