hi Valerie,

I would call your dr. I did have similar happenings when pregnant with my son, and was told it was because I am petite and he had little room in the late second trimester. The water helps as dehydration can cause the uterus to contract. I was told if contractions/BH that were seemingly painful were more than 6 in an hour for more than 2 hours to go to the L&D suite. I am sure it is just the sheer postion of the baby and all the changes, but would get checked anyway. :O)
