I am 28. We already have a daughter who is 4 and a half. We have been trying for a baby for the past 2.5 yrs. I foolishly left it for 18 months before I went to my doctor to refer me to the hospital (I live in England). After many months of waiting the consultant finally put me on Clomid 50mg which I have recently finished taking the second cycle of. My mum took Clomid to get pregnant with my brother and fell first month. A few friends of friends fell the first month and here I am month two and probably still not pregnant. Will the Clomid eventually work or do you think I am just wasting my time. I try to be positive every month but as the months go on it gets harder and harder. I know I am lucky that we have Miya but she is at that age now that she understands alot and wants a baby brother or sister herself. How can you explain to a 4 yr old that Mummy and Daddy are trying but that it just isn't happening? Sorry to go on so much. I just had to get a few things off my chest.
