Re: 1st IUI failed, and have lost all hopeFrom: p (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 1 Jul 2003 10:46:23 -0500 (CDT)
I know the disappointment - I've been TTC for 10 years. We had bad semen counts and finally had an IUI---i know the percentages are low (like 15%) for the first IUI with low counts. Give it a few chances before you start feeling you have to move on. If the counts are good it's only like 20%-30% chances---that's why they want you to do three before you move on. Don't be discouraged, i know it's difficult to hope - but if i can do it this long - you can stick it out a few more times---:) Good luck
