Hi. I'm 12 weeks, 2nd pregnancy, and went for a check up last night. My OB had trouble finding the heartbeat, he had it for 3 seconds and then lost it. He said the baby is behind the placenta, and it was difficult to pick up. He said not to worry, everything else is great, and we'll hear it next time. He said the norm is 13 weeks anyway. Question is is this normal? It's hard not to worry. Thanks.
