Are you taking iron supplements? That will really constipate you. I had trouble with constipation throughout my first pregnancy. I drank tons of prune juice and ate a lot of bran muffins. I was a bit iron deficient, so my doc wanted me on supplements. I tried it and ended up with hemroids. So I asked to try to make my diet a bit more iron rich and dump the supplements. I ate Total Rasin Bran everyday... sometimes twice a day. My iron went back up AND I was able to poop again. Unfortunately, the hemroid didn't go away for a long time. Do everything you can to prevent those hemroids.
