Re: My 1st Miscarriage.....Questions :( not found in Archives...From: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Jun 2003 13:32:34 -0500 (CDT)
Sorry about your miscarriage. I was pregnant with my 2nd and miscarried on the 20th at 6 weeks. I went to the doctor and they did the bloodwork but no D&C. I went for a followup of bloodwork so they could have something to compare it to and it was down to 100 from 2000. I was told to come back in 2 weeks to do more bloodwork to see if the count was down to 0. If it isn't, then a D&C will be done. I "only" bled for about 5 days. They can do an ultrasound to see if anything is left but that may not be accurate if it's just a tiny bit left that's not showing on the US. I was told that if the bleeding has stopped, then it's more than likely everything has passed but the bleeding could take up to 2 weeks to stop. Sorry I don't have any other info. I'm just going by what my doctor told me. At Sun, 29 Jun 2003, Ashley wrote: > >Hi there-- > >I am 26 y.o., have 2 babies at home... this was my 3rd pg. I >miscarried naturally at home at 7 weeks.
