2nd post - please respond. Irregular Sack found at Ultrasound.From: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Jun 2003 11:24:39 -0500 (CDT)
I am a 30 year old and 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I has an ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks that showed a (slightly) irregular shaped sack - but there was a strong heartbeat and the baby measured exactly as it should w/ good fluid around it. Does this indicate or put me at a higher risk for a birth defect? What is the likelihood that I will continue to have a healthy pregnancy? thank you very much in advance. I searched your archives and could not find a similar post.
