I am currently 13 weeks. My husband was in a serious accident about 2 months prior to our conceiving this child. Treatment required significant knee surgery and pain medications for several days. The pregnancy is progressing normally, however, I am concerned about birth defects and learning disabilities related to this exposure. Should I be concerned?
