COnception will occur as long as spermatoziodes are present when an egg is released during ovulation. The "delay" in your ovulation is in relation to the length of your cycle. The longer it is the more "delayed" your ovulation might seem. On the other hand, you may be having a problem with ovulation due to deficiencies in some hormones.
