Wish I could help but it's true what the others are saying- it could mean tomorrow, it could mean six weeks. I was 1 cm dilated, 40 percent effaced at my 37-week appointment and 3 weeks and 1 day later I went into labor. My sister was 2 cm dilated and 60 percent effaced at her 37-week appt and didn't go into labor for 3 weeks. There's really no way to tell! Just be on alert!
