>From my experience (have two daughters)...I was dilated 1 cm and 80%
effaced at 32 weeks with my first...delivered her at 38 weeks and 1 day. I was dilated 1 cm and 70% effaced at 28 weeks with my second and delivered her at 39 weeks and 3 days. It really is very difficult to predict the exact date a child will be born...unless you are scheduled for a c-section and sometimes an induction.

Not very reassuring, but hang in there!:)
