7th Day of Provera- Period Started- Do I continue taking it until day 10? Dctrs pls help. From: Alexis (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 24 Jun 2003 16:25:38 -0500 (CDT)
I have been put on Provera to help my body start a period since I have been having irregular cycles after a previous miscarriage in January & Leep Procedure. We are trying to have a baby. Last month was the first month I was put on Provera. I was prescribed Provera for 10 days. The first day off of Provera I started a period. I take my Provera at roughly the same time every morning. This month is my second month on Provera. Today I am on day 7 of my 10 day prescription. My period has already started. It has been continous but light - slightly brown / mainly red in color. What should I do? Should I continue taking the Provera until day 10 or just stop taking it since I have already achieved having a period start. Also I will be starting my first round of clomid on days 5-9 on my cycle. Is today considered the first day of my period? Thank you for all of your help, I really appreciate how wonderful and informative you are to all of us, who are in need of guidance & help.
