24wks3days- fell down and now feeling flu-like????From: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 23 Jun 2003 23:15:33 -0500 (CDT)
Took the car to get washed/waxed 6/21 whilst walking through the sludge and oil and soap and whatever I slipped and went down onto my hands and a knee (thankfully saved the belly). Went on with my day knowing I had put my back out... by evening of 6/22 I felt really tired (but I have had that transiently lately) woke up 6/23, attempted to "be a big girl" and go to work- got dressed and nearly 100% ready and realized I just couldn't do it (while attempting to eat breakfast I felt really bad, like the breakfast was a risky idea) Ate a very, very modest portion and gave up... and thankfully grabbed the trash can in time to "give it all up" full body retch from the depths... I had done that when I was at the heighth of my morning sickness, but had not really retched since 16wks3days... stayed in bed and away from all foods and drinks, called OB when I got worried... saw my OB's partner who checked the heartbeat and said the baby was fine (in my gut I already knew tht because she had been active since the fall) my small of my back, neck, and shoulder were out and the muscled on either side of my belly button towards my hips hurt more when I turn over... the muscles just under my ribs all along the front are sharply achy. Went to my chiropractor who put back what can be adjusted during pregnancy... came home, now I am also experiencing awful diarrhea (can't think of how to describe it other than pissing out my ass every 30 mins, and creating a very raw anus) MISERABLE!!! Anyone ever hear of complications from a fall creating all of this kind of havoc?
