Unfortunately I can't provide any solid medical advice to you but here's my story:

I also work out aerobically quite hard 5x/week. I run (2x/week), spin (2x/week), do strength work (every day), & do other aerobic machines (3x/week). The aerobic part of my workouts last from 40 to 65 minutes each. I used to get my heart rate up past 160 but, because of the conflicting opinions, I now stay below 150 w/ an average of about 140. >From what I hear the "140 or below" guideline is old-school & that "rate
of perceived exertion" is the new school. If you're conditioned like we are then you're fine to continue as long as you don't get too overheated or dehydrated. Unfortunatley not every ob subscribes to the new theory! I have never heard of 120 or below!!!! That's ludicrous except for pg women who have never worked out before. My ob advised to stay below 150 as well & that's what I do.

I am almost 30 weeks & all's well so far.
