Re: Stomach Pain in fifth month

I had an examination last week (17th week) from my ob. I had had this pain before and when I mentioned it to her she checked if the cervix was closed and we heard the heartbeat okay. She asked me to drink lots of fluids the next time it happens which is what I did but it didn't really help.

There is no pain today but only a little tenderness. Should I still be concerned? Since this is my first pregnancy I am not really sure how I am supposed to feel. I tried to search the internet but all i could find was round ligament pain. But that is supposed to be towards the lower sides where as mine was very much near the center and much intense at times. Should I call up my ob today to seek help again?

Thanks, Anupama
